Mark Thompson - Lawyer
Mark grew up in Williamsburg, Iowa. He enrolled in
Luther College, in Decorah, Iowa, where he was
active on the Cross Country and Track & Field
teams. He graduated with a B.A. in computer
science. He worked for an Internet upstart company
in Minneapolis before returning to Iowa to pursue his
law degree.
Mark was accepted at the University of Iowa College
of Law in 2001, then ranked among the nation's top
10% of all law schools by U.S. News and World
Report. Mark also studied law at Oxford University in
England. He graduated from the University of Iowa
College of Law in May of 2004.
Now Mr. Thompson operates Thompson Law Office,
LLC, in Iowa City, practicing primarily in criminal law,
with a focus on OWI / DUI, alcohol and drug related
cases. He also remains active in running.
Thompson Law Office, LLC also employs Caitlin
Moore, a 2008 University of Wisconsin Law School
graduate.
